in a beautiful picturesque town of the Oita Prefecture
As you arrive at the retreat centre, your breath begins to slow down and take in the refreshing crisp air of nature and you are delighted by the simplicity and comfort the land brings.
Here you are greeted with warm Japanese hospitality by the caretakers as they serve you a warm cup of tea as you admire the cleanliness and spaciousness of the halls.
It seems like a world apart, so different from what you’ve known. And yet you’ve come home – not only to this magical place but more importantly to yourself.
You’ll feel like you’ve been transported to another time and space while still having all the conveniences of our modern age.
You are not quite sure which to go for first - the hot springs to release all your toxins and stress away or the sauna to awaken it. Perhaps you will do both.
